It’s Official! Dian Sastro Is The Loveliest Indonesian Female Blogger
Dian Sastro, one of the most phenomenal actress in Indonesia join the blogosphere. She is a prominent figure in the history of Indonesian Cinema. Ada Apa Dengan Cinta, where she played as Cinta, was a movie that jumpstarted Indonesian cinema. I’m so excited about her new blog
It was 1999, Sheila On 7 was the hottest band in Indonesia. They were a newcomer in Indonesian mainstream music scene. Their first album was phenomenal, i listened to it over and over again.Then i watched the TV, there was their new music video for Anugrah Terindah yang Pernah Kumiliki, and for the first time i saw the beauty of Dian Sastro
So i was in love with Dian Sastro
Or maybe i was just pretending that i’m in love with her. You know, it’s like my joking material. Every time my family ask me whether i have a girlfriend or not, i always say that i do have a girlfriend, her name is Dian Sastro and they will laugh and call me crazy. I told them that so many times i think my family actually believe i’m really in love with her. Well, which sane man won’t fall in love with a beautiful lady like her?
Sadly, i’ve only watched her works in three movies. Bintang Jatuh, Ada Apa Dengan Cinta and Ungu Violet. I haven’t seen Pasir Berbisik, i heard she is great in that movie as Christine Hakim’s (a household name in Indonesian Cinema) daughter. So the last time i saw her work was 3 years ago. Well, i guess it was just an infatuation.
Now She Blogs!
Okay, blogging is not the hottest thing you can do nowadays. Everybody blogs. Young, old, male, female, business person, student, minister, artist, spammer. But, when an actress with goddess-like status such as Dian Sastro, blogs!! Whoa!! It’s like watching Halley’s comet, it’s like another renaissance, it’s like being reborn. It’s like… HEAVEN!!. What i like about her new blog is she blogs passionately. Without going through some editorial process makes her blog even more adorable. I love her overusing of exclamation marks, dots and repeated letters like I’m Sooo Happyyyy!!!, well it gave me chills, the good ones (what do we call a good chill?). AND HAVE YOU SEEN HER VIDEO BLOGS??? Oh my god!! It was an eternal bliss. All those dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin are overflowing my useless brain everytime i watch those videos again and again. Nah! i don’t need drugs!! just give me her video blogs!!
She deserves heaven
I know this sounds silly, but somebody should take note and make a research about the impact of Dian Sastro’s blogging and the rise of Indonesia as a nation. Or at least its impact on internet penetration in Indonesia. I know i’m not the only one who got excited about Dian Sastro’s blog. There are posibbly millions of indonesian males who finally realize the world is indeed a beautiful place and life is worth living after visiting Dian’s blog. Some of them will have revelation, some of them will inspire another. This chain reaction will leads to more prosper Indonesia. For that alone, Dian Sastro deserves heaven. Not to mention her works that entertained millions Indonesians. Heck, if reincarnation does exist, i believe Dian Sastro will reincarnate as herself and spreads even more happiness.

@STR: no of course not. Christine Hakim didn't give birth to Dian in real life. I heard, in Pasir Berbisik Dian acted as Christine's daughter. Though i haven't seen it myself, which is kinda shameful to be a self-proclaimed movie-lover but haven't seen Pasir Berbisik ..
