Hello, my name is Ahmad Dendi Dwipayana, you can call me Dendi. I'm an indonesian currently living in Semarang, a beautiful but somewhat dull city in Central Java.
I love movies
Yep, if there's anything called passion in my life it must be movie.I love movies but it doesn't necessarily make me an expert in movies, i'm just a regular guy who enjoy watching them.
I don't have one specific genre that i like the most. I enjoy dramas, actions, comedies, sci-fi, documentaries. I tend to steer clear of horror movies, though. Horror movies gave me nightmares and it's rather pointless to watch a movie and at the same time constantly trying to avoid seeing it. You know, like covering your eyes with your hand and shut them when there's a scary scene, which is what a horror movies is all about. I found asian horror movies the scariest. I've never finished watching the original version of The Ring.
Ummm.. why english?
Because my bahasa indonesia sucked and my english sucked even more. It will be more shameful to write in my own language and have many mistakes than to write in english and have no less mistakes. Writing in english makes me comfortable to make mistakes, because it's not my mother tongue. That means grammar nazis are very welcomed.
